I wish you were out in Northern VA. I have a wish to buy some property out there, but understand that prices are booming now. What's the market like where you are?

The real estate market here is strong but stable. We have had steady growth for the last 65 years. Although we have not had the huge appreciation gains that some markets have had, we also have not had the downturn or "bubble markets" either.
Our communtiy has a very diverse economic base from a large medical field, tourism, trucking industry, to Kraft Foods where they make macaroni and cheese.
